Empowering Education in MoCo

I am running for the Montgomery County School Board in District 3 because I believe every child deserves access to high‑quality education, safe learning environments, and opportunities that prepare them for lifelong success. Our community is growing rapidly, and we need leaders who can navigate this growth responsibly, transparently, and with a strong commitment to students and families.

Throughout my career in state government, higher education, and city administration, I have built a reputation for accountability, collaboration, and results. I have managed complex budgets, overseen technology and infrastructure projects, written and evaluated contracts, and ensured compliance in highly regulated environments. These experiences are directly aligned with the responsibilities of a school board member—reviewing policies, managing public resources, and making informed decisions that impact thousands of families.

My work at Austin Peay State University deepened my understanding of how educational systems operate and how important it is for students and teachers to have the right tools, resources, and support. In my current work with the State of Tennessee, I continue to champion efficiency, transparency, and responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars—values I will bring to the school board.

I am also a long-time resident of our community and a strong supporter of public education. I want to ensure that District 3 continues to have a strong voice advocating for academic excellence, fiscal responsibility, and meaningful engagement with parents and educators. Our district deserves leadership that listens, seeks solutions, and stays focused on what matters most—student success.

 I remain committed to strengthening public institutions and ensuring that our school system delivers results for every family. I am running for the school board because I believe good governance matters and because our children deserve leaders who will work tirelessly to support their future.

Together, we can strengthen Montgomery County Schools and build a foundation of opportunity for every student in District 3.
